RLNI Celebrates 50 Years

By

Right to Life of Northeast Indiana will celebrate its 50th anniversary as an organization with its upcoming Fall Banquet on October 14th, 2024, at the Allen County War Memorial Museum. The banquet is projected to be the largest pro-life banquet in the United States, with an estimated 3000 attendees from all eight counties that RLNI serves.

Jim Caviezel will be the keynote speaker, an actor most notable for his role as Jesus in “Passion of the Christ,” and most recently starring in the latest blockbuster hit, “The Sound of Freedom.” Jim is passionate about his love for God, family, and country, and has become a notable speaker at Christian events to promote his love for life and the unborn. He and his wife Kerri have adopted three children.

"There is still much work to be done in the pro-life movement as we pray for the end of abortion in all fifty states and work to live in a culture that values all life."

“We are still rejoicing in the victory of Roe v. Wade being overturned and the effects of the Life Bill in Indiana drastically reducing the number of abortions,” says Zach Rodgers, Executive Director. “There is still much work to be done in the pro-life movement as we pray for the end of abortion in all fifty states and work to live in a culture that values all life.”

Right to Life has kept busy doing just that. Whether hosting Right to Life Workshops that teach attendees how to communicate and defend the pro-life position, training sidewalk advocates to stand outside of Planned Parenthood and offer alternative resources to the women going in, holding 40 Days for Life Vigils, coordinating Life Defender Summer camps for high school and college students, and hosting a weekly pro-life radio show (just to name a few), there is still an abundance of opportunities in the Northeast Indiana community to serve in the pro-life movement and defend innocent human life.

Tickets for the banquet are on sale until October 7th, which means there are just a few days left to purchase to be a part of this historic event. To purchase tickets or host a table, visit ichooselife.org/banquet.
